Got up early took the bus to a hiking trail that goes from Germany to Austria. Crystal blue skies crispy perfect hiking weather. We came around a lake to the castle that brook and Morgan both had posters in their rooms…. I didn’t think it was real.

Still processing the concentration camp from yesterday. How can something so evil originate such a place of such beauty? The real evil dwelt in a nazi Gestop/SS training camp that was next to prison for the entire German Army.

Our speaker was so good and covered so much… in the camp there were different levels of persecution. Slavics,gays Jews Gypsies, handicapped, criminals, Germans who did not take a knee. One group that would not submit were the Jehovah witness. Their belief was stronger than the worst evil imaginable.

When the us army took it over the effect of what they saw even after the horrors of war was something many never recovered from.

The camp commander surrendered at the gate and after what the us soldiers saw someone took him out back and shot him.?

Another group soldiers were so upset that they went to the local villages and forced them to walk through the camp.

Castles…..mmmm will yes there’s a sense of romance… life with princess and kings and stuff of fairy tales but the decadent display of wealth is abit overwhelming especially when most of the population was living in object poverty. This castle today was over the top with almost every square inch the work of the very best craftsman.

Josh said that his people starved while the king built this monstrous ridiculous castle!
